SYS/SEO
Content clusters, not standalone keywords.
SEO means capturing demand that already exists on Google without buying a single click: we structure the site into semantic content clusters, answer real search intent, and produce content that ranks and holds up over time.
SEO is part of our Growth & Performance expertise — CRO, SEO, SEA and analytics.
SYS/FOR
Articles published on the fly, with zero organic traffic to show for it. We start over from real search intent and proper structure.
Thousands of URLs to get indexed and prioritized. We clean up the technical foundation, organize the content clusters, and target what has real potential.
Not vanity visits — visitors who activate. We align content with use cases and the funnel.
SYS/SCOPE
Seven work streams — expand the one that applies to you.
Indexing, crawl, speed, tags and structured data put under the microscope (Screaming Frog, Search Console).
Mapping who searches for what, at which stage, to write the right pages instead of standalone keywords.
One pillar page per topic, linked child pages: the architecture that ranks a whole theme, not a single URL.
Briefs scoped from the SERPs, agent-assisted writing, human review before any publication.
Linking pages together to distribute authority and guide both readers and crawlers.
Rankings, clicks and pages to rework, tracked over time — SEO is something you steer, not launch once.
Mentions, sentiment and hallucinations across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude. The studio runs these analyses on its own backend — see the SEO & GEO Audit case study.
SYS/AI
Three views of the same content cluster: what it used to cost to produce, what agents speed up, and what can't be delegated.
Building a full content cluster meant trading off depth against budget: we'd write ten pages where the topic demanded a hundred, and internal linking stayed a good intention stuck in a spreadsheet.
Low-volume topics — the ones that actually make up the long tail — were never worth tackling by hand.
Workfluence: 500 job-profile pages generated by script from a database, reviewed before publication, for ~$20 in subscription costs — a content cluster fed at marginal cost, not an auto-generated site. Scale comes from the agents; quality comes from the review.
What this unlocks: the long tail becomes tractable again, and internal linking is generated from the same database as the pages.
Briefs
Briefs are generated from the SERPs and real user questions, then arbitrated by hand before entering production.
Internal linking
Links between the pillar and child pages are derived from the cluster structure, then checked page by page before going live.
Human review stays mandatory: nothing gets published without an editorial pass. We aim for useful content, not page filler.
It's also what separates a useful content cluster from a content farm — and it's precisely the absence of it that Google penalizes, not the tool that drafted the first version.
SYS/LOOP
The studio's loop, applied to organic search.

SYS/FAQ
SEO without content is technique running on empty. Content marketing without SEO is text nobody finds. Together: we pick search intents, produce pages that genuinely answer them, link them into a content cluster, and measure in Search Console and GA4.
Google keeps updating its algorithms; the throughline stays the same: content that's useful, structured, and earns its place. We don't “fill” an editorial calendar just to hit a volume target. We build an asset that compounds.
At Shamalo, agents speed up production (briefs, drafts, linking); a human reviews intent and quality before publication. See also the CRO lever: a page that ranks but doesn't convert is still a cost.
SEO is measured in months: first movements often show up in 2 to 3 months, more stable rankings on a content cluster in 4 to 8 months depending on competition and domain authority. It's not a campaign you switch off: it's an asset that compounds.
Agents compress the time it takes to produce pages, not the time it takes to get indexed or beat the competition. Promising the first page of Google in fifteen days just because we generate content faster would be a lie.
While organic builds up, SEA can kickstart visibility. The two talk to each other: queries that convert in paid inform the content cluster.
A keyword isn't a target. Behind “quoting software” there might be a comparison, a purchase, or a simple definition. Chasing volume without intent means ranking for visits that will never convert — or not ranking at all, because the page doesn't match what Google wants to show.
We start from the queries, the pages already in place, Search Console, sometimes the terms that convert in ads. Then we assign one intent per URL: informational, commercial, transactional. One page, one intent.
That's also why we review generated content: an AI draft can “talk about the topic” without actually answering the real question. Useless content is risky content, no matter what tool produced it.
Google penalizes unhelpful content, not the tool that produced it (helpful content). Generate to move fast, review systematically, and only publish what answers the intent: that's the studio's rule.
A cluster of generic, poorly linked pages copied from a competitor won't rank for long — and can hurt the domain. Agents are a drafting accelerator, not a publish-without-a-safety-net factory.
The review checks facts, tone, internal linking, headlines, and “would a real person actually need this page.” If the answer is no, it doesn't go live.
SEA buys visibility right away and stops when the budget stops. SEO takes time but compounds. We often launch paid to kickstart things while the content cluster builds up — especially if the business needs leads now.
The two feed each other: terms that convert in ads become organic pages; well-crafted paid landing pages can contribute to organic. We don't run two separate silos.
If there's neither an ad budget nor the patience for a few months, acquisition might not be the right lever. That's what the call is for.
A pillar page that covers a topic in depth, surrounded by child pages linked to each other (and to the pillar). This structure signals to Google that the site is authoritative on the topic, not just on a single keyword.
Internal linking isn't decorative: every link should help the user go further, and help the engine see the hierarchy. A 40-page cluster with no logic is worse than a well-run single pillar.
This is the studio's production format: we don't sell an abstract “10 articles a month.” We sell a scoped content cluster, mapped intents, and a reviewed publishing calendar.
Yes, domain authority still matters. A link from a real, relevant source is still a signal. A network of purchased links isn't: it shows, it costs you later, and it's not what we offer.
At Shamalo, the main lever is content and structure, not a link-building campaign. If your industry is locked down by authority, we'll say so: a content cluster alone won't be enough, and we don't sell magic.
Natural mentions (press, partners, case studies) help. We welcome them; we don't mass-manufacture them.
Search Console for queries, impressions, rankings, pages. GA4 for on-site behavior (and conversion, if tracking holds up). A Looker dashboard for ongoing monitoring; a data extract analysis when a specific question comes up.
The useful metrics: pages breaking into the top rankings, qualified organic traffic (not vanity volume), conversions attributed to organic, cluster coverage (how many intents are actually served).
We don't optimize “traffic.” We optimize a business KPI. A #1-ranking page that gets no one to act is a trophy, not a result.
